Ventnor Highlights

The Ventnor Nook is a modern funky ground floor apartment, set on the outskirts of the beautiful coastal town Of Ventnor.

Visitors to Ventnor will find a great variety of established local shops, restaurants, public houses and holiday accommodation. All provide a friendly service both to their local community and its visitors. Many serve local freshly caught fish and locally brewed ales. The town is currently undergoing a revival with exciting developments including its harbour and off-shore deep sea moorings and a range of new accommodation, restaurants and retail outlets.

To the east of the parish of Ventnor lies the village of Bonchurch renowned for its literary connections. Writers and poets such as Dickens, Stackpole and Swinburn all resided here for a time. To the west lies St.Lawrence nestling in the Undercliff. Here there are many miles of coastal walks, bays and places of interest to explore.

"We loved the flat which was perfect for our short break and had everything we needed. The communication from booking to leaving was great and the welcome goodies were very much appreciated. The location was fab and my daughter and I wished we could have stayed longer. We hope to come back soon!"

No need for a car staying here.......

"The Nook was a great place to stay for our long weekend on the Isle of Wight. The flat was clean, cosy and so many personal touches that made us feel at home. Ventnor itself is quite hilly, but the walk up Spring Hill to the flat was worth it for the views and the location is amazing. Close to town and bus routes to get about the island. There really is no need for a car staying at this flat. Helpful hosts, great local suggestions and would highly recommend a stay here"
